72Carolina Butacan Susterich, 85, of Kahului, formerly of Kauai, co-owner of Joe's Service on Kauai, died. She was born in Paia, Maui. She is survived by sons Jerry and William "Bill" Valdez; daughters JaneAhman, Evelyn Sally Condon and Leila "Millie"Liva; brother Licerio Butacan; sisters Linda Bristol, Isabel Speck and VisitationBrittain; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
