He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wifeGenevieve K. "Genny"; sons Peter K., Robert K., Thomas K. and John K.; daughters Joan K. Matsumoto and Mary K. Ishiki; brothers Stanley and Lawrence Takata; sister Harriet K. Woods; and 11 grandchildren. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
