Robert Joseph Fernandez Sr., 80, of Kahului, a retired Maui Police Department sergeant and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Puunene, Maui. He is survived by wife Barbara J., sons Robert J. Jr. and William A., daughters Yvonne Kanoa and Darlene Kuailani, sister Myrtle Pszyk and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
