FRANCISCO "FRANK" "ICOY" SUAN Age 87, of Waipio Valley, HI, passed away September 5, 2012 at St. Francis Hospice-West. Born May 12, 1925 in Honolulu. Frank was an Army veteran, musician, truck and bus driver. Co-founder & Professor in the martial arts of Kenpo. Inducted into the Kujukenbo Hall of Fame by Sijo Adriano D. Emperado. Later, he became a Jehovah Witness of the Waikalani Congregation. He is survived by wife, Lenie Suan; sons, Douglas Suan, Melvin Gedarro, Garrick "Ace/Kahi" (Yve) Gedarro; daughters, Kathleen Suan Miyashiro, Donna Suan, Sharon (Kevin) McKenzie, Stephanie Gedarro Lewis, Malama "Helen" Gedarro; brother, Jose Suan Cole; 21 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation 5:30 p.m. Sunday (September 30) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Funeral Service 6:30 p.m.
