JAMES T. HUTCHERSON
Age 78, of Makakilo, Hawaii passed away surrounded by his family in Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu, on September 15, 2012. A retired Air Force veteran of 23 yrs, a professor at the University of Maryland, University of Guam and Hawaii Pacific University and retired Sr. Economist for GovGuam Dept. of Commerce. Born in Michigan, he grew up in Ontario, Canada. A beloved husband and father, Jim will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by wife Akiko, daughters Diana Murphy and Mona Koehler and beloved family in Michigan, Canada, Tennessee, Kentucky and Japan. He was a devoted member of the Aloha Shriner's Int'l., Tokyo Scottish Rite and B.P.O. Elks.
Private services with Air Force military honors ceremony held with inurnment at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl, Hawaii. Donations suggested to his favorite charities: Honolulu Shriner's Hospital For Children or Hawaiian Humane Society.
