72, of Pacific Palisades was called home to be with our Lord on Sept. 14, 2012, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born Sept. 11, 1940 to John and Eva Paiva. He attended St Augustine's, graduated from St Louis College class of '59 & later retired from Hawaiian Electric. He enjoyed coaching Little League, racing pigeons, golfing, boating but most of all he enjoyed his family. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Gale V., Sons Bobby (Noe); Scot; Daughter Yvette (Randy) Chinen; 9 grand-children; 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5:00 p.m., Oct 9th at Diamond Head Mortuary. Services: 7:00 p.m. Casual attire.
