George Iwao Arai, 84, of Hilo, a former employee of Dole Cannery and Paramount Grill, and an Army veteran, died in Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. He was born in Papaikou, Hawaii. He is survived by brother Herbert and sisters Tsuruko Daimaru and Evelyn Inouye. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
