72Jerry H. Bentley, 62, of Honolulu, a former University of Hawaii instructor, an author and a founder and editor of Journal of World History, died in Honolulu. He was born in Alabama. He is survived by wifeCarol M. Lee, stepson Michael L. Shinn, parents William C. and Ina Mae "Billie" H., and brothers Murry and Larry.
