Robert Kam Bung Ching, 85, of Honolulu, a retired Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard pipe fitter inspector and an Army veteran who served in the 79th Engineers Construction Battalion during World War II, died. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Sue M., daughter Karen White, hanai daughter Sandra Amakawa, sisters Pearl Ching and Valerie Tom, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Private services.
