Lt. Col. Brian Wayne Brown, 47, of Yokota, Japan, an Army air defense officer, died in Tripler Army Medical Center. He was born in Marion, Ind. He is survived by wife Kumiko M.; sons Andrew, Cory and David; daughters Chelsea and Ayaka Brown and Kaori and Rika Hubbard; father Jackie; mother Bonnie Heal; brothers Jack L. and Randall; and sisters Dawn Hall, Virginia Haley and Kimberly Thrailkill. Services held. Inurnment: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. No flowers. Donations suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project.
