FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

NOBORU "LEFTY" OKAZAKI
NOBORU LEFTY OKAZAKI 3/1/1919-10/2/2012 Passed peacefully at home with his family at his side. Born in Wahiawa, Oahu. Noboru worked for the Army Corps of Engineers, in Okinawa for 34 years. Preceded in death by his wife Chiyoko, parents Ryoichi and Fumiyo Okazaki of Hiroshima. Survived by daughters Naomi and Irene (California), grandchildren Jessica, Daniel, Mary, Caleb, Ashley, Raymond "Noboru" and great-grandson Miko "Noboru"; sisters, Kiyoko Kim (Kaneohe), Midori Okazaki (Hiroshima), brother, Roy Okazaki (Honolulu), numerous nieces and nephews. We do miss him, yet joyful and expectant as he is now in the eternal presence of his Lord and Savior. Arrangements are under the direction of P.L. Fry and Son, Manteca,CA (www.plfryandson.com). "Lefty" will be laid to rest at the Hawaii State Veteran's Cemetery on a later day.
