FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

ROSELINE FRYER
ROSELINE FRYER 91, of Honolulu passed away September 27th, 2012 at home with loved ones around her. She will be remembered as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Roseline Medeiros was born in Makawao, Maui on May 9th 1921. She grew up on Maui then moved to Oahu with her family where she did some modeling and attended business school. She then worked at American Can Company where she met her husband, Eric Fryer. A deeply religious and devoted Catholic, Roseline treasured her faith, fellow parishioners and the sanctity of the Holy Church. Later she worked at Star of the Sea as a rectory support assistant and volunteered at numerous religious and charitable organizations such as the Third order of Mary, 616 Lady Elks and Star of the Sea Church. She was a very creative person who taught arts & crafts, and her favorite activities included bazaars, fundraisers and carnivals. Roseline will be missed by those surviving her: Son Jeff (wife Marla) and grandchildren (Alex and Amber) of Arizona. She will also be missed by her beloved sister Florence Puana of Honolulu, numerous nieces, nephews, and sister-in-laws Gloria Medeiros, Delphina Medeiros and Agnes Medeiros. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all of the friends, clergy, Doctors, Hospice and Private Duty care individuals who provided care and prayers over the past few years. We know she is at peace, resting comfortably and will be always with us in our hearts. Her Memorial will be held on Saturday, October 27th, 2012 at Star of the Sea Church beginning at 9:30am with visitation then mass at 11:00am. Her internment, next to Eric, will be at Diamond Head Cemetery at 12:45pm. All are invited to join the family for a lunch reception at the Diamond Head Mortuary lanai area beginning at 12:45pm.
