KAY K. DEMELLO
KAY K. DEMELLO Kay K. DeMello passed away on October 15, 2012 in Phoenix, Arizona. She died peacefully, surrounded by family. Kay was born on May 26, 1929 in Hilo, HI. The DeMello family moved to Honolulu in 1960 where Kay later worked in the Hawaii State Legislature's house print shop for 26 years. Kay was preceded in death by her husband Eddie DeMello, an ILWU Legislative Lobbyist. She is survived by her brother Norio Watanabe, her children: Donna (Larry) Hall of Las Vegas, NV; Clayton DeMello of Kailua; Charlotte (Kevin) Murphy of Haleiwa; Debbie DeMello (Dan Judson) of Makawao; Edward DeMello Jr. of Honolulu; Kathryn (Michael) Durkin of Phoenix, AZ., 14 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. You are invited to honor Kay with your presence on Friday November 2, 2012 at Nuuanu Memorial Park; visitation at 5:00 p.m.; services at 6:00 p.m. A celebration of her life will follow on Saturday, Nov. 3.
