71Merrill Sadami Miura, 69, of Pahoa, Hawaii, a retired industrial arts teacher at Pahoa High School and Kalanianaole Elementary School, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Olaa, Hawaii. He is survived by wife June; sons Steven S., Taketsugu and Alan H.; mother Shizue; brother Sidney; sisters Leatrice Santo and Gladys Miura; and a grandchild. Private services.
