80Robert S. "Butch" Soares, 72, of Honolulu, a retired roofing superintendent, woodcarver and spearfisher, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Wendell C.J., daughter Roberta L. Helemano, brother Ronald L., sister Laverne Skinner and two grandchildren. Private services.
