81Miles Teruo Nakanishi, 61, of Hilo, a retired Hilo High School counselor, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Denise; son Chad; daughters Denise Andre, Robin Yardley, Mealoha Kraus, and Kealohanui and Mililani Browning; hanai sons Franklin Johnson Jr., Adam Bonham and James Lazo; mother Mildred; brothers Wayne and Dean; sisters Ann Monson and Ellen Oshiro; and seven grandchildren. Visitation: 2 p.m. Sunday at Wainaku Executive Center. Services: 4 p.m. Casual attire.
