Clarence Akana
Oct. 18, 2012 Clarence "Pops" Akana, 72, of Waikoloa, Hawaii, a retired pipe fitter at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, retired Waikoloa Golf Course golf marshal and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Mildred; daughters Angela McFarland, Pamela Garred and Leesa Souza; sister Haunani Bolos; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Private services. Donations suggested to North Hawaii Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
