80Vigilant Wailamaakealoha Kaohelaulii, 58, of Kekaha, Kauai, a kumu and educator for Kula Aupuni Niihau a Kahelelani Aloha, died in Straub Clinic & Hospital. She was born in Puuwai, Niihau. She is survived by husband Henry M. Kanahele; son Chris Kanahele; daughters Juliet, Angelene and Aloha-lynn Kanahele, and Peggy Kaohelaulii; hanai son Roger Kahale; brothers Douglas and Tony Kanahele; sisters Aka Kanahele and Pupu Duarte; and eight grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Garden Island Mortuary. Burial to follow at Kekaha Hawaiian Cemetery.
