Age 75, of Waianae, Hawaii, passed away October 30, 2012 in Honolulu. Born June 29, 1937 in Kahuku, Hawaii. Miriam retired as a school teacher after 32 years at Leihoku and Kapolei Elementary Schools. She was a member of the Makaha Canoe Club. She is survived by husband, Phillip C.L. Naone; sons, Joseph (Daryl) Whitford, Mark Alan Kapena (Donna) Whitford of Maui, Christian Walter (Luella) Aona, Phillip Naone, Jr.; daughters, Shawna Keliinoi, Miriam Kuulei (Michael) Whitford, Hilda (Gary) Kawaakoa, Marlene Ryanette (Ralph) Kahoonei; 22 grandchildren; 40 great- grand- children.
