Our beloved Candido “Boy” Manatad Jr., 66, of Kahalu’u, went home to be with our Lord on November 1, 2012. He was a retired City and County Refuse Worker and Commercial Fisherman who was a faithful servant of New Hope Windward Christian Fellowship. Beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and son whose abundant aloha touched many lives will be greatly missed. 91, of Honolulu, died October 27, 2012 in Honolulu. Born May 12, 1921 in Honolulu to the family of Charles E. Mitchell, Robert was adopted by Clement A. Aona at the age of six. Robert retired as an E7 from the United States Army after over 20 years of service. He also retired from ESCO Corporation. Robert was an active and faithful member of the Manoa Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He is survived by his son Robert WH Aona; his daughters Charlotte Aona, Naomi Eck, Yvonne Aona; grandchildren Robert “Lopaka” Tengan and Nicole Phillips; two great-grandchildren; and one brother. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Saturday, November 10, 2012, at the Manoa Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1560 S.
