Leighton Goro Sumida, 92, of Aiea, a retired employee of the Navy Public Works Center and Honolulu Airport, and an Army veteran who served in the 100th Infantry Battalion during World War II, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Mark and Sidney, daughter Beverly Shiroma, seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 5 p.m. Monday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
