Kaneyo “Kay” Higashi, 96, of Honaunau, Hawaii, self-employed proprietress of Higashi Store, died at home. She was born in Waipahu. She is survived by son Gary, daughters Frances Uchima and Gloria Okamura, six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Nov. 23 at Kona Hongwanji Mission, Kealakekua. Services: 6:30 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
