ALYCE SATO TAKAMI
February 16, 1923- August 3, 2012 Alyce Sato Takami died peacefully in August in Seattle. Alyce was born in Honolulu to Tamiyo & Taichi Sato. She graduated from St. Andrew's Priory in 1941. She was interned in Manzanar, CA before attending Beaver College in Pennsylvania. She married Suyehiko Takami & lived for many years in NY. She moved her family back to Honolulu in 1972 and most recently worked for Tiffany & Co. She is survived by sons Bruce, David (Wingate Packard) & John Takami (Roger Lorenzen), grandsons James & Robin Takami, Bob Sato, Larry (Laura) Sato, & Harriet (Glenn) Masunaga, Jane Sato, beloved nieces & nephews. A celebration of her life will be held in Honolulu on December 19th at Central Union Church (Atherton Chapel) at 4:00 pm, 1660 South Beretania St.
