Kent S. Kaneko Sr., 63, of Hilo, a former mechanic at Roberts Tours and Gray Line, and proprietor of Kent’s Auto Repair, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Pepeekeo, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Doreen J.P.; son Kent S. Jr.; daughters Tanya M. Kaneko and Sherry L. Taheri; mother Sumiko Johnson; brothers Milton, Russell, Delton, Sheldon and Reed; and four grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Friday at Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home. Services: 7 p.m. Burial: 10 a.m. Saturday at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.
