Sumiye “Sumi” Tanabe, 88, of Aiea, a retired employee of SB Printers, died in Aiea. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Robert “Hachi”; son Merle; daughters Linda Florendo, Karen Morneau and Patti Tanabe; brother Shigeru Tsubota; sister Margie Hirasaki; a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
