Avis Morigawara, 56, of Aiea, a professional nonfaculty employee of the University of Hawaii Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, died at home. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband George, son Kai, daughter Mika Mitsuyoshi, parents Fusae and Harold T. Sawada, brother Michael Sawada and three grandchildren. Private services.
