73Helen Ritsuko Nishida DeBerry, 77, of Stockton, Calif., a retired San Francisco Unified School District teacher, died at home. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by sons Mikio and Mitsu; daughters Monette DeBerry and Yuki Gilmore; brothers Michael K., Gilbert and Don Nishida; sisters Michiko Oda and Violet Tanimoto; and five grandchildren.
