Dr. David Lyle Stokesbary

Dr. David Lyle Stokesbary, 72, of Waimea, Hawaii, formerly of South Laguna Beach, Calif., a researcher, orthopedic surgeon and an Army major who served in the Vietnam War, died at home. He was born in Ferndale, Wash. He is survived by wife Kailin, son Tai, daughters Mei-jen and Jen-ai, and brothers Burt and Jon. Graveside services at noon Wednesday at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery.
