Kenneth Leroy “Alfalfa†Perreira Sr., 69, of Hilo, a retired R&G Tire Center commercial salesman and an Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War, died at home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Deidre “Dee,†sons Kenneth Jr. and Timothy, daughters Amenda Moses and Melissa Barretto, brother Carl, sisters Geraldine Carreira and June Ha, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation 5 p.m. Monday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 7 p.m. Visitation: 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hilo. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.
