74Mariano Sonny Lampitoc, 81, of Waimea, Kauai, a cook at Job Corps Hawaii and Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital, died at home. He was born in Waimea. He is survived by son James; daughters Brenda Lampitoc and Barbara Hicks; brother Melvin Soriano; sisters Josephine Alvarez, Diana Sasan, Lolita Toves, Rosalina Agni and Arsenia Schroeder; and five grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Waimea Sacred Hearts Church. Mass: 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire.
