Dale Keakaokawai Kaopua Hunter, 70, of Prattville, Ala., formerly of Hawaii, a Hawaii state retiree, died in Prattville. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Jeffery E. and Jon; daughter Jodi-Lynn Phillips; brother James Kaopua; sisters Kay Lum, Avis Fitzgerald, Junell Hoomalu, Pady Ching, Sharon Shellhouse and Vayna Nelson; and six grandchildren. Celebration of life held in Prattville. Private scattering of ashes to be held in Hilo.
