PAUL MENDEZ TROCHE, JR. Age 81, formerly of Waianae, passed away November 10, 2012 in Kapolei. Born July 2, 1931 in Honolulu, Hawaii. A retired heavy equipment operator at Hickam Air Force Base. Known by many as "Pops", he loved his family to the end. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anita Israel; step-father, Antonio Israel; father, Paul Santiago Troche; brothers, Albert, Youngki; sisters, Tiny, Victoria and Gloria. He is survived by wife, Charlotte Troche; daughters, Linda (Robert) Dougan of FL, Paula M. Troche, Noreen K. Troche; grandchildren; Tammy Martin, Sharmain Brantley, Robbie Dougan, Summer Gerdes, Tiffany Duran; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Kelsey, Kyler, Georgie, Teah; great-great-grandchildren, Shaedan and Danali; step-mother, Lydia Troche of CA; brothers, Herman (Michie) Troche, Alan (Rita) Troche of CA, Louis (Hazel) Troche of Big Island, Kenneth (Barbara) Troche of CA; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation 5:00 p.m. Saturday (December 15) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Memorial Service 6:00 p.m. Committal Service 11:30 a.m. Monday (December 17) at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl.
