Hisashi Kanno, 97, of Henderson, Nev., a U.S. Geological Survey retiree, died at home. He was born in Kawailoa, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Momoko S., son Wayne H., daughter Pamela Hicklin, sister Fumiko Tanaka and a grandchild. Private services.
