Alethea "Ale" A.K. Akau Cabral Silva, 70, of Las Vegas, formerly of Kaneohe, a retired waitress at Flamingo Restaurant Kaneohe, Tiki Tops and Hungry Lion, died in Las Vegas. She was born in Kawaihae, Hawaii. She is survived by husband Vincent "Peewee"; sons Paul and Dan Cabral, and Keola Silva; daughters Ruby Koch, Laura Rodrigues, Athena Kaluhiwa and Jamie Silva; brother Solomon Akau; sisters Diane Hillen and Lei Gomes; half brother Eli K. La‘a; half sister Sarah L. Bowers; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Celebration of life: 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at Parkway Recreation Center, 45-396 Mokulele Drive, Kaneohe. Graveside services and burial: 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Aloha attire. Flowers welcome. Additional information for an obituary published Sunday.
