81Violet Kai Lin Hu, 93, of Honolulu, a retired New China Daily Press typesetter, died in Wahiawa General Hospital. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Franklin and Michael; daughters Marilyn Jew and Mabel Okubo; brothers Henry and Albert Kam; sisters Helen Wong, June Tong, Alma Lum and Beatrice Kong; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
