Gwendolyn Castle Murphy, 99, of Hillsborough, Calif., died in Hillsborough. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by daughter Elisabeth B. McCullough, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Private services. Donations suggested to Punahou School or the American Red Cross, Hawaii chapter.
