Charles Soichi Yamashiro, 88, of Ewa Beach, a maintenance retiree at the state Department of Transportation Harbors Division at Aloha Tower and an Army veteran, died. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Nancy Y.; sons Marvin and Kelvin; daughters Lorna Miyaguchi and Wendy Sakamoto; hanai daughter Connie Kang; brothers Richard, Edward and George; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation: 3 p.m. Saturday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 4 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
