Seiko Akamine, 98, of Pearl City, a retired outside machinist at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Shop 38, died in Ewa Beach. He was born in Puunene, Maui. He is survived by wife Kazue; sons Roy, Ray and Wallace; daughter Joyce Shimabukuro; brothers Dr. Edwin, Lawrence and Dr. Jack; sisters Natsuko Matsuda and Harriet Hatfield; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Private services.
