75John V. Cardoza Jr., also known as "Braddah" and "Hunter," 73, of Ookala Hawaii, a retired construction road crewman for Hamakua Sugar Plantation, died in North Hawaii Community Hospital. He was born in Ookala. He is survived by wife Maria C.; sons John V. III, Anthony C., Brada J., Jacob V. and Hershal C.; daughters Vivian Monica Mace and Blanche S. Revilla; stepdaughters Jenifer Agpaoa and Jessica Roque; sisters Irene Gamache and Elizabeth S. Holt; 29 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Papaaloa. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at the church cemetery. Casual attire.
