He is survived by wife, Maida Kahai; son, Joseph (Stephanie) Kahai, Jr.; daughters, Laurie (Brandon) Ceniza, Monica Mulivai; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Abraham (Myna) Kahai, Gene Kahai, Roland Kahai; sister, Laverne Rhody.
