Harold Yoshiharu “Shorty” Iijima, 97, of Kaneohe, a retired self-employed general contractor, died in St. Francis Hospice West. He was born in Kaneohe. He is survived by wife Kay N., sons Wayne M. and Craig I., daughter Lynn K. Goya, brothers Iwao and Donald, sisters Chiyoko Masaki and Rose Miyasaki, and four grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Thursday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Casual attire.
