Pedro “Pete” Merez, 86, of Waialua, owner of Pete’s Appliance Repair Shop and an Army veteran, died in Waialua. He was born in Baguio City, Philippines. He is survived by wife Christa; sons Recardo “Rick,” Gino and Timothy; daughter Susan Cook; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Private services.
