Erik William Sholin, 63, of Honolulu, a Salvation Army minister and major, and an Army National Guard veteran, died in the Queen’s Medical Center. He was born in Sacramento, Calif. He is survived by wife Angeline L., son Carl E., daughter Hilary, brother David and sisters Virginia Smallwood, Marilyn Watson, Charlene Pinkerman and Sylvia Mathias. Visitation: 1 p.m. Saturday at Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, 2149 Lauwiliwili St., Kapolei. Celebration of life: 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to Salvation Army Kauluwela Corps, 296 N. Vineyard Blvd., Honolulu, HI 96817. Aloha attire.
