CYNTHIA T. HARADA 71, passed away on January 6, 2013, in Omaha, Nebraska, after recently moving near her niece Grace Harada Lord. She was preceded in death by parents Seiichi and Matsuko Harada, and brothers Rev. David (and wife Lillian), Dr. William, and Joseph Harada. Survived by sisters-in-law Eleanor Harada (Pennysylvania) and Jane Harada (Aiea), extended family, and many friends. Born in Lahaina, Cynthia obtained degrees from UH and UCLA, and lived in West LA for many years. Cynthia was known for her wisdom, warmth, empathy, generosity, humor, playfulness, exuberance, and indomitable spirit. She exhibited ageless qualities and touched the hearts and lives of many people. A memorial service will be held in the LA area on February 2, 2013. In lieu of flowers, contributions to meaningful non-profits are requested.
