Kameko Awakuni, 90, of Kaneohe, a retired self-employed seamstress, died in the Queen’s Medical Center. She was born in Makawao, Maui. She is survived by sons Brian and Dennis, brother Frank Nishihara, sister Shizue Miyasato, four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Private services.
