Marvin K. Makiya, 65, of Kaneohe, a Honolulu Police Department retiree, died. He was born in Hawaii. He is survived by son Phillip, daughter Tiffany and sister Sharon Rahn. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Feb. 9 at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
