Takayoshi Kouchi, 84, of Hilo, a retired Hawaii County Fire Department captain, died at home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Tsugino, son Don, daughter Beverly Barlongo, four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Private services.
