David Kahaloa, 89, of Honolulu, a tug and barge mechanic and an Army retiree, died in the Veterans Affairs Center for Aging. He was born in Hawaii. He is survived by sons David Jr., Vincent and Zachary; daughters Debra Y.M. Naranjo, Rosaline Campbell and Johana Calhau; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Thursday at Borthwick Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Burial: 10 a.m. Feb. 15 at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire. No flowers.
