Richmond K. Puahala, 84, of Pearl City, an Army retiree with the 5th Regimental Combat Team, died in Honolulu. He was born in Lahaina. He is survived by wife Violet M.; sons Ryan M., Robin K. and Roth K.; daughter Richelle M. Alipio; brother Kaipo; 24 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, makai chapel. Services: 10 a.m. Committal services: 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
