Mark Susumu Oshio
MARK SUSUMU OSHIO January 11, 2013 Mark S. Oshio 76, of Honolulu, passed away peacefully at home. He was born on June 21, 1936, to Paul and Margaret Oshio. Mark retired as President of Schuman Carriage Motors after being with the company for 50 years. Part of that time he was also actively involved with NAPA. Upon retirement he became a director on the Rehab Hospital of the Pacific and Rehab Foundation boards. He was an advocate for Rehab and volunteered his time to support Rehab's mission. Mark also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor, quick wit and the ability to make others laugh. He is survived by his beloved wife Helen, daughters Patti (Alan) Ohara, Kristi (Thomas) Lundell, six grandchildren; Richele Ohara, Isaiah, Elijah, Olivia, Aliya and Pono Lundell, and brothers, Bryan (Karen) and Dennis Oshio. Services will be held at Hosoi Garden Mortuary on Saturday, February 16th with visitation at 3:00 p.m. and services at 4:00 p.m. Casual Attire. No monetary offerings.
